In Switzerland, seven UASs offer Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in Social Work. They run continuing education courses, graduates of which receive a course certificate, a CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies), DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies) or MAS (Master of Advanced Studies). In the field of applied research and development, as well as in services, new findings are obtained, innovations are promoted and customised solutions for partners in practice are developed. Linking research and services to education and continuing education ensures that the teaching remains academically and practically relevant.
