Research projects commissioned by third parties, as well as projects initiated by the UASs themselves, are carried out at the Universities of Applied Sciences. The universities’ activities in research, development and services enable new findings on the handling of complex societal challenges to be obtained and innovative proposed solutions to be developed. This also ensures that results from research are incorporated into the teaching, thus keeping the education up to date.
Alongside research projects, UAS staff also give specialist lectures and consultations, as well as conducting evaluations and assessments.
